Stock market
The EGX30 index saw a 0.54 percent increase, concluding Thursday's session at 28,434 points.
Moreover, the EGX70 index rose by 4.79 percent, settling at 6,630 points, while the EGX100 index surged by 4.20 percent, closing at 9,362 points.
The market cap gained around EGP 43 billion compared to Wednesday’s session, reaching EGP 2,011 billion.
Iron and Steel for Mines and Quarries was the best performer in the market on Thursday, jumping 19.89 percent to end at EGP 4.52.
Today's worst performer was Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding-EGP, which dropped 8.27 percent to close at EGP 44.26.
Gold purchase prices
The purchase price of 24-carat gold rose by EGP 28, reaching EGP 4,428 per gram on Thursday, compared to the previous day.
The price of 21-carat gold increased by EGP 25 to EGP 3,875 per gram, and the 18-carat grew by EGP 21 to settle at EGP 3,321.
The gold pound coin reached a purchase price of EGP 31,000, nearly EGP 200 higher than the previous day.

Currencies
The official EGP/USD exchange rate remained at EGP 30.8414 for buying and EGP 30.9386 for selling.
The euro is valued at EGP 33.3396 for purchase and EGP 33.4570 for sale.
The Saudi riyal is priced at EGP 8.2239 for buying and EGP 8.2503 for selling.
