Magic Land Al-Hokair and EMPC launch EGP 1.1 bln ‘Tanza’ project in Egypt

Magic Land Al-Hokair, owned by Saudi Abdul-Mohsen Al-Hokair Holding Group, launched on Saturday the "Tanza" project in collaboration with the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), under a usufruct system with investments totaling EGP 1.1 billion.

EMPC's CEO Abdel-Fattah El-Gebaly, in the launch event held on Saturday at Magic Land in October City, emphasized the strength and solidity of the Egyptian-Saudi strategic relations, underlining the support from the political leadership of both countries. He also stressed the importance of economic relations between the two countries, especially after Egypt eliminated all obstacles facing investors, making investment opportunities promising.

El-Gebaly praised the collaboration between EMPC and Al-Hokair Group in launching the "Tanza" project, with investments surpassing EGP 1.1 billion.

He stated that the city provided full support for the project, including technical services, facilities, logistical support, and administrative and customs facilitations. El-Gebaly expressed the city's eagerness for further cooperation with the group, highlighting the significance of such projects in enhancing bilateral relations.

On his part, Mahmoud Gaber, CEO of the "Tanza" project, expressed his delight in launching this project, which marks a new cornerstone in the tourism and entertainment sector in the Middle East.

He highlighted the project’s innovative concept for Egypt's tourism and entertainment world, being equipped with massive production capacity and international-level capabilities. Gaber said it boasts a team of top specialists in the Middle East to rival the world's leading integrated entertainment projects in precision and standards.

He added that the project includes seven entertainment zones: the Continents Zone, Acceleration Zone, Sports Zone, Forest Zone, Cinema and Theatre Zone, Children's Zone, and Dolphinarium, each with its exceptional entertainment features.

According to EMPC, it is the largest integrated entertainment project in Egypt.

The event was attended by Abdel-Fattah El-Gebaly, chairman of the EMPC board; Mahmoud Gaber, the project's CEO; industry, entertainment, and tourism investors; officials from EMPC and Al-Hokair Group; and local, Arab, and international media representatives.
