Egypt bourse shows mixed performance at closing of Wednesday's trading

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices showed mixed performance at the closing of Wednesday's trading session, amid anticipation of news regarding the economy, companies' performance, and expected acquisition deals in the market.
The market capital lost about EGP 6 billion to settle at EGP 2.176 trillion, with transactions amounting to approximately EGP 53.125 billion.
The EGX30 benchmark index slightly increased by 0.13 percent, standing at 30545.11 points.
The broader EGX70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) declined by 1.58 percent, closing at 7688.98 points.
The all-embracing EGX100 index also declined by 1.34 percent, registering 10856.48 points.
