Egypt bourse indices hike at closing of Sunday trading

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices hiked at the closing of Sunday's trading session, backed by purchases by institutions, local investment funds, and foreign and Egyptian investors against sales by foreign and Arab institutions and Arab individuals.
The market capital gained nearly EGP 19 billion to end trading at EGP 2.227 trillion, amid total transactions of nearly EGP 13.2 billion.
The EGX30 benchmark index increased by 0.57 percent, reaching 30,833.13 points.
The broader EGX70 index of leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) climbed 1.21 percent, registering 8,126.15 points.
The all-embracing EGX100 index also increased by one percent, closing at 11,337.56 points.
