EGX indexes down at end of Tuesday trading

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective losses at the end of Tuesday's trading, influenced by sales operations by foreign investment funds and individual Arab and foreign investors.

The market capital reached EGP 2.278 trillion after transactions scored EGP 110.3 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased by 0.12 percent to reach 31,582.39 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small- and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dropped by 0.34 percent, closing at 8,351.9 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down by about 0.25 percent, ending at 11,628.54 points.
