The first Saudi-Egyptian investment meeting will take place tomorrow in Jeddah, under the theme "Partnerships for the development of wealth," according to MENA. The meeting was organized by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Council of Saudi Chambers, the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council, the General Authority for Investment, and the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
The meeting will be attended by Egypt’s Rachid Mohamed Rachid, minister of trade and industry, and his Saudi counterpart, Abdullah bin Ahmad Zainel.
The meeting will have a presentation on the available investment opportunities, in order to encourage business integration and to increase the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries.
Osama AbdullahAl-Khireiji, a member of the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council, stated that investment meetings will be held periodically in both countries, and that Jeddah was chosen for the first one based on its strategic location in trade between the two countries.
