During a meeting Wednesday with the EBRD official, the minister tackled the possibility of promoting developmental cooperation ventures including financing green projects and incentivising green public investments in the energy, food and water sectors, as part of Egypt’s National Climate Change Strategy 2050 (NCCS).

COP27 is set to take place at the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh in November.

According to Al-Mashat, the efforts are directed at realising sustainable development goals.

The future will see further cooperation between Egypt and the EBRD, within the framework of their new 2022-2027 strategy, that aim to meet the state's developmental needs and support the overhaul the various state sectors, the minister said.
