With the aim to protect the Egyptian identity from "mental colonisation and globalisation" and in collaboration with the NGO, Culture Bridges, Beit El-Sennaropens its doors to the public in its second forum this week to host "With Egypt on My Mind" from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 August.

Set in the heart of Sayeda Zeinab and built in 1794, Beit El-Sennari was the home of Napoleon Bonaparte’s Institute for the Committee of Science and Arts, where the 24 volumes of Description de l’Egypte was written. Now under the umbrella of the Alexandria library, El-Sennari acts as a center for science, arts and culture.

The forum will opened to the public at three pm on the 26th with the group exhibition of 20 Egyptian artists, showcasing sculptures, paintings and photography. Soon afterward, the arts workshops will also open to the public.
