   عمر المال الحلال ما يضيع

Omr el-mal el-halal ma yedee

Translation; Money that is well-begotten doesn't go to waste

Meaning: Easy come, easy go. Only those who toil for their money know how to spend it wisely. 'Halal' has a broad connotation: religiously correct, honest, above-board, legitimate, legal, and well-earned. If you really like someone you call him "ibn halal," an upstanding person.
