ساعة البطون تتوه العقول
Sa'et el botoun tetouh el oqoul
Translation: People lose their minds when they are hungry
Meaning: Don't reason with the hungry, give them food instead. The proverb sounds revolutionary and egalitarian, but it is almost exclusively used in jest, just to remind those around that it is time to eat.
