Mesh koll marra teslam el garra

 

Translation: Not every time the earthen jar will remain safe.

 

Meaning: You may get away with dropping your drinking jar, but if you remain careless you’ll regret it. The earthenware metaphor suggests a nineteenth century or earlier origin.
