Sohag constituents outvote Al-Nour over Brotherhood’s FJP

The final results of the second round in Shohag saw salafist Al-Nour Party emerge as the biggest winner upon amassing 229,829 votes

The final results of the parliamentary elections’ second round in Shohag, Upper Egypt, Al-Nour Party emerged as the biggest winner upon amassing 229,829 votes.

Al-Nour was closely trailed by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party, who seccured 222,672 votes.

The liberal Egyptian Bloc, led by the Free Egyptian Party, comes third with 125,830 votes.
