Preliminary results in North Sinai have revealed that the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) secured 35% of the votes in the candidate lists. 

In second place was the Salafist Al-Nour Party with 23% of the votes followed by the liberal Reform and Development Party  which earned 15%. The Islamist Wasat Party secured 9% while the liberal Wafd Party trailed behind with 7% of the votes.
