Brotherhood candidate Morsi urges Egyptians to return to the streets if next week's presidential polls are accompanied by reports of electoral fraud

Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate Mohamed Morsi on Thursday urged Egyptians to be on guard against the possibility of electoral fraud in presidential polls slated for next week.

If elections are rigged, Morsi warned, a "new revolution" could erupt.

"And this time, the Egyptian people won't wait 30 years to revolt," he said. "If reports emerge of electoral fraud, I implore the Egyptian public to return to the streets and squares."

Along with being the Muslim Brotherhood's presidential candidate, Morsi is also president of the Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party.
