Two die of heart attacks, 61 injured on second day of presidential elections: Health ministry

Egypt's health ministry announces that two voters had died on Thursday. Both men – aged 59 and 72 – reportedly passed away after suffering heart attacks.

The total number of injured voters on Thursday rose to 61 countrywide. Injuries reportedly included fainting and heart attacks.

"44 people were taken to hospitals and 17 were treated in the polling stations," Ahmed Al-Ansari, an official in the Egyptian Ambulance Organisation, was quoted as saying by state-run news agency MENA.
