Although they failed to win any medals, Ramadan Ibrahim and Esmat Ahmed produced a convincing performance during Wednesday’s competitions in Weightlifting.
Ibrahim ended fifth in the Men's Weightlifting 77 kg with a total of 347kg (155kg snatch, 171kg C&J) coming very close to clinching a bronze medal, which, at the end, went to Cambar Rodriguez Ivan who lifted a total of 349 kg.
Meanwhile Esmat Ahmed ended ninth in the Women's 69kg competition with a total of 235 (105 Snatch, 130 C&J).
