Ghana duo Anthony Annan and Isaac Vorsah returned to light training late Tuesday to relieve the injury woes of their coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which starts Saturday.

According to Ghanasoccernet, Annan was suffering from a mild injury he sustained in last week's friendly against Egypt, while Appiah didn't want to risk Vorsah in Sunday’s game against Tunisia.

Both players are yet to join their teammates in full training sessions.

Earlier Tuesday, both Albert Adomah and Rabiu Mohammed featured in the morning session after recovering from their injures.

The Black Stars camp is now only suffering the absence of striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, the extent of whose injury is yet to be determined.

Ghana thrashed Egypt 3-0 on Thursday, before stunning Tunisia with a 4-2 win three days later amid preparations for the prestigious continental tournament.

Ghana will start their Nations Cup campaign Sunday when they face DR Congo in the Group B opener.
