In continuation to the Company’s Community and Social Initiatives during Ramadan, within the framework of its extensive efforts during the holy month of Ramadan, Orange Egypt announced its collaboration with the “Egyptian Food Bank” to provide and distribute 50,000 food boxes to the irregular daily workers across 6 governorates - that include Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Fayoum, Beheira, and Alexandria - with the aim of supporting the community as well as the state’s efforts amid the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic and hence contribute to alleviating the burden of citizens and their families.

In this initiative “Orange Egypt” in cooperation with “Food Bank” will deliver the 50,000 food boxes to the allocated governorates through the support of 562 charitable associations in 6 governorates.

The initiative is an affirmation of Orange’s role to support the community in general and during such exceptional circumstances that the country is going through in specific; where it exerts all the needed efforts to support those in need through different ways and initiatives that better help the community where which it operates.
