The technological boost in the field of smart cities and digitalising services in tandem with the great development of the construction sector in Egypt was the subject of discussion of information technology companies at the sessions of the three-day Cairo ICT conference, inaugurated by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi last week.

 

Michael Li, Huawei’s regional president, reviewed his distinguished and innovative experience in providing artificial intelligence services in partnership with the Hisham Talaat Mostafa Group.

 

The company provided technological solutions in the field of communications and service management in Al Rehab city, which were applauded and welcomed by the 90,000 families residing in the city. The services varied between providing security solutions by recognising car panels electronically, surveillance and security systems at gates, as well as smart lighting units, and others.

 

 

Li stressed that technology fields are witnessing rapid and successive developments that provide several solutions in various economic fields. Throughout its history in Egypt, Huawei has been working to transfer these experiences to the Egyptian market in line with the needs of its partners in the private and government sectors.
