- Egypt’s and Bayer’s 2030 visions are matching. Both aim to provide Egyptians with access to high-quality healthcare, protect vulnerable populations, and empower women, ultimately leading to a healthy and secure life.
- At Bayer, inclusion starts with recruitment. Our job postings resonate with a female-appealing tone of voice, ensuring that we create an environment where all voices are heard and acknowledged.
At the Global Congress on Population, Health and Development (PHDC 2023) in Egypt's New Administrative Capital from September 5th to 8th, Özden Yiğit, the Head of Human Resources at Bayer Middle East, highlighted the alignment between Egypt's and Bayer's 2030 visions.
Both aim to provide Egyptians with access to high-quality healthcare, protect vulnerable populations, and empower women, ultimately leading to a healthy and secure life. “It is our honour to partner with the Egyptian Ministry of Health in its noble journey to serve the Egyptian people.
Bayer's vision "Health for all, hunger for none" is focused on providing top-quality healthcare support to 100 million individuals worldwide each year. In addition, the vision is empowering women on a global scale through initiatives that provide health solutions to help them plan for their future and by promoting women's contributions to Bayer's global mission” she asserted.
According to Yiğit, women's empowerment plays a critical role in developing communities worldwide and enables countries to advance in their sustainable strategies that match the global sustainable development goals through 2030: “Women empowerment is not about women taking power from men, it's about women having equal power, equal opportunities, and equal respect. When we empower women, we empower families, communities, and entire nations. Our societies are stronger when everyone has the opportunity to contribute their best. If we want a world where women and men stand as equals, working hand in hand to build a more just, prosperous, and harmonious future for all, we should continue to promote and support women's empowerment”.
