Saudi Arabia offers a range of visas for leisure, Umrah, family visits, business events, and travel across its many destinations.
These visas, both electronic and non-electronic, include:
First: Electronic Visas
● Electronic Visit Visa:
Tourists from 66 countries can now apply for a visit visa online through the electronic tourist visa portal.
● GCC Residents Visa:
Residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can easily apply for an electronic visit visa online through the tourist visa portal.
● Transit/Stopover Visa:
Transit visas allow travelers to visit Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours. These visas are available when booking a stopover flight through Saudia Airlines or Flynas.
● Family or Personal Visit Visa:
Saudi citizens can issue personal visit visas to host relatives and friends, allowing them to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to three months.
Second: Non-Electronic Visas
● Visa on Arrival:
Tourists can obtain a visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia at designated visa issuance points in the passport control area. This option is available for travelers with visas from the US, UK, or Schengen countries, as well as residents of these countries. The visa permits tourism, attendance at events and conferences, exploration of Saudi destinations, and performing Umrah.
● Visit Visa via Saudi Embassy or Consulate:
Tourists from countries not eligible for e-visas must apply for their visas through Saudi embassies or consulates abroad.
