Egypt’s rower Nadia Negm had her single scull women’s semi-final at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics postponed due to weather conditions.
The 18-year-old Nadia, who made it to the semis after finishing ranked 24th in the quarter-finals, was due to compete on Wednesday morning.
Heavy rain and wind, however, prompted officials to postpone all rowing contests on Wednesday, as they have yet to make a decision as to whether morning competitions would be played later in the day.
