Egypt's runner Fatma El-Sharnoubi fainted after competing in the women's 800m event at the Rio de Janeiro Games on Wednesday.
El-Sharnoubi was pictured being carried on a stretcher after taking part in the event. It was not immediately clear why she had fainted.
She finished last among eight runners in heat 4 with 2:21.24 minutes. Her overall rank was 63 among 64 participants.
