Africa Cup of Nations debutants Guinea-Bissau have announced their squad for the upcoming finals in Gabon, despite the end of Wednesday's deadline date.
Manager Baciro Cande has named a squad entirely composed of Europe-based players, including ex-Everton player Francisco Junior.
Whether African Football Confederation (CAF) would sanction the West African country for submitting their squad late remains to be seen, as they open their campaign against hosts Gabon n Libreville on 14 January.
Guinea-Bissau, who eliminated Congo Brazzaville and Zambia en route to the finals were drawn in Group A alongside Burkina Faso and Cameroon.
