Ghana captain Andre Ayew is doubtful for Cameroon's anticipated game on Saturday in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations because of injury.
Ayew and midfielder Thomas Agyepong sustained injuries during Benin's opening game on Tuesday and they were both substituted in the second half.
"Further medical test reveal that Agyepong will not be available for selection for the Cameroon game. However the medical team are monitoring Dede’s condition and will advise the technical team regarding his availability depending on how he responds to treatment," a statement read on the Ghana FA official website on Thursday.
Ghana were held by Benin to a 2-2 draw in their opening game while Cameroon beat Guinea Bissau 2-0.
The Ghana-Cameroon tie is one of top clashes in the group stage and will be a decider for the summit of Group F.
