Special Event: Commemorating Youssef Cherif Rizkallah
Youssef Cherif Rizkallah, the iconic Egyptian film critic and historian, passed away in July 2019. The Cairo International Film Festival’s 41st edition is dedicated to the legendary expert who served the festival since 1987 and became its Artistic Director in 2000. Rizkallah is being honoured with many activities. The special event will bring the audience closer to the late critic's life and creative endeavours.
