Collaborating with mainstream pop songwriting stars; lyricist Tamer Hussein and composer and arranger Mohamed Rahim, Sarwat releases 'Ya Mestaagel Fora'ei'

Egyptian singer Mohamed Sarwat, who rose to fame in the 70s, has been among the trending music topics in Egypt and the region this week, with his latest romantic single titled 'Ya Mestaagel Fora'ei'.

"My real happiness after the release came from the pleasant reactions and emotional feedback from my beloved respected audience. Thank you," stated Sarwat early Friday.

Collaborating with mainstream pop songwriting stars; lyricist Tamer Hussein, composer and arranger Mohamed Rahim, Sarwat's Wednesday release reached almost million listeners on YouTube alone boosting his newly-established channels with thousands of subscriptions ahead of an anticipated album.

Sarwat's appeared in a classic outfit playing piano in an indoor historic location in the video-clip produced and directed by his son Ahmed Sarwat,

Widely known for many memorised patriotic, love, Islamic and kids songs amid his discography, the 66-year-old has been quite active in recent months after years of absence, introducing a couple of Islamic chanting concerts where he featured some of the first row chanters like Ihab Yunis, Wael El-Fashny and Mostafa Atef.

Sarwat has collaborated with many Egyptian legendary musicians from Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Mohamed El-Mougy, Mounir Morad, Mohamed Sultan and Ammar El-Sherie.

Alongside Mohamed Mounir, Amr Diab and others, Sarwat's romantic song is one of the few pop releases currently trending besides tens of new Mahragan and rap releases.
