Once upon a time, there was a lovable and affectionate girl named Belle. When her father offends the "Beast" by plucking a rose in his garden, Belle offers to become his hostage in place of her father. Little by little she learns to pity, to understand and finally to love the monster, who is eventually transformed through her love into a charming prince.
