Egyptian Director Mohamed El-Adl revealed a photo of behind the scenes of the Ramadan 2021 show based on Naguib Mahfouz's Between Heaven and Earth yesterday.

Posted on his Facebook account, the photo presents the director during a discussion with an actress.

The highly advertised show began shooting a few days ago.

Last week, the starring actress, Sawsan Badr gave the first sneak peek to the series by posting on her Instagram account a photo of her preparations for the shooting.

Directed by Mohamed El-Adl, the series is based on Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mahfouz's story, Bayn El Sama we El Ard (Between Heaven and Earth), which was developed specifically for cinema.

The show's script is written by Eslam Hafez. 

The series stars Sawsan Badr, Hany Salama, Youssra El-Lozy, Ghada Adel, Nourhan, Mahmoud El-lisy, Ahmad El-Salakawi, among others.
