The festival's management said in a statement the song will be unveiled during the event's opening ceremony on 6 November. The festival will run until 11 November in Egypt's South Sinai city of Sharme El-Sheikh.

The SITFY added that "Samaha expressed her pleasure to take part in the festival shedding light on the significance of the festival, being a momentous event in the land of peace 'Sharm El-Sheikh'. Furthermore, Samaha expressed her gladness to be a representative for youth artists."

Born in 1990, Samaha graduated at the Higher Institute of Music, Department of Arabic Singing. She gave numerous concerts across Cairo yet her major breakthrough came when she reached the quarter finals in the ninth edition of the talent show Star Academy. This was followed by the release of her first single I've Made a Mistake (2014).

As Samaha's popularity began to grow she started probing acting career, first in film Party Fe Harty (2016). She also took roles in television series such as Azmet Nacab (2016), Al Nos Al Tany (2017), Afrah Eblis 2 (2019), Jame Salem (2020), among others.

Samaha has a large followership on social media, with 3.6M followers on Facebook and 1.1M on Instagram.

Held annually, the SITFY is the first of its kind festival to be organised in Sinai. It was launched with the aim of providing opportunities to young theatre practitioners while decentralising the artistic scene and reviving tourism in South Sinai.

The SITFY's founder and president is Mazen El-Gharabawy, and the artistic director is Ingy El-Bastawi.

Iconic actress Samiha Ayoub is SITFY’s honorary president, and veteran Egyptian actor Mohammad Sobhi is the president of SITFY’s Higher Committee.

SITFY is held under the sponsorship of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ines Abdeldayem and South Sinai Governor, Major-General Khaled Fouda.
