Under guidance of the culture and sports ministries, 200 participants were selected from 27 governates to compete in three categories: singing, acting and TV presenting.
Through three stages of competitions, participants will showcase their talents to the juries and the crowd. Two winners in each category will be granted the opportunity to take part in the various UMS productions that have come to dominate in the country in recent years.
Over 12 weekly episodes, El-Dom juries, comprising renowned artists from various disciplines, will judge the talents of the participants selected from over 200,000 applicants.
The opening episode was aired last weekend, with performances from renowned singers Sherine Abdel-Wahab, Afaf Rady accompanied by her daughter Mai Kamal and others. The performance was attended by many top media makers who have collaborated with the UMS, and headed by Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy and Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem, who performed on her flute to big applause.

Many artists and media personas, like Yousra, Nagwa Ibrahim, Karim Abdel-Aziz, Lamis El-Hadidi, Hamid El-Shaeri, Elham Shahin, Donia Samir Ghanem, Tamer Hosni and many others have hailed the concept of the show, expecting the discovery of influential talents through the episodes.
