A talk on Astro-photography and how best to shoot night skies will be given by photographer Mohamed Hakem at Photopia on 19 September.
Hakem will present the basics of handling this tricky photographic subject, discuss the equipment required and outline the best times and locations to shoot the night sky.
The talk will cover how to shoot the Milky Way and star trails, discuss basic photo editing and shed light on the process professional photographers use to capture their finest images.
Attendees can also bring their own photographs for Hakem to critique.
Mohamed Hakem is a travel photographer and the official Fujifilm X-Photographer for Egypt.
