A collaboration between Gypsum Gallery and Adsum Art consultancy presents a group exhibition featuring 11 artists’ work on paper, opening 22 May.
“Paper Trail presents a varied collection of intimate drawings and monoprints as a record of a moment, a memory, an experience and a place,” the exhibition description reads.
Monoprint is a single print taken on paper from a design created in oil paint or ink on a surface of glass or metal.
The total number of monoprint works on display amount to 150, and were selected from the works of artists ranging between established, mid-career and rising artists who are all living and working in Cairo and which include Amy Arif, Nada Baraka, Shahira Hammad, Mustafa El-Husseiny, Ahmed Nagy, Fadwa Ramadan, Hany Rashed, Nehad Saif, Noura Seif, Moustafa Youssef and Islam Zaher.

The exhibition opens on Monday, 22 May at 7pm
Open daily from 12 to 8pm, Fridays from 4 to 8pm, Sundays off.
