Three Egyptian galleries will showcase their collections during the upcoming Art Dubai which will be held in the United Arab Emirates 25-28 March.
All based in Cairo, the galleries include Art Talks, Gallery Misr and the Zamalek Art Gallery.
The three galleries will take part in Art Dubai Modern, the event's section curated by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath.
The collections on display will present works by renowned Egyptian artists such as Georges Sabbagh (1887-1951), brought to Dubai by Art Talks, Fouad Kamel (1919-1973) presented by Gallery Misr, and Gamal El-Sagini (1917-1977), showcased by Zamalek Art Gallery.
Aside from the featured collection, the galleries will also present works by numerous other Egyptian artists.
One of the world’s most important international art fairs, Art Dubai brings together galleries, curators and artists from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia regions.
According to the event's website, Art Dubai also aims to play a role as a talent incubator, being a launchpad and development platform for successful careers for artists, curators and art professionals.
"Art Dubai’s mission extends to cultivating an ecosystem of not only art, but also education, mentorship and thought leadership, through programmes which foster cross-continental dialogue and exchange, enhancing the international curatorial landscape and building lasting relationships."
