The 14th Luxor International Photography Forum took place in December 2021 giving a platform for numerous Egyptian and international artists to create their work during the forum.

Organised in cooperation between The Development Fund Sector and Luxor Governorate, the event generated 46 paintings which are now on display at Prince Taz Palace.

Encouraging the creativity in a unique location, the Forum provides a space for the chosen artists in addition to seminars and networking facilities.

The exhibition presenting the Forum's creative fruits launched on 17 July and will continue until 31 August.

Among the artists presenting their paintings are Egyptian painters such as Ahmed Sonbol, Hossam Saqr, Doaa Hatem, Rania Fouad, Fares Ahmed, Karim Helmy, Maher Gergis, Mohamed Banawi and Mohamed Orabi. They are joined by their counterparts from Serbia, Greece, Iraq and Jordan.

Carrying the name of Taz al-Nasiri, son of a sultan of Egypt, a Bahri Mameluk named Al-Nasir Muhammad, Taz Palace is one of the most beautiful architectural gems of Medieval Cairo. The palace was built in 1352 and remodeled in the 17th century.
