The show, an immersive exhibition that presents Monet through various techniques he represented, is part of the ongoing Jeddah Season, which kicked off on 27 June and continues for four months.
The annual Jeddah Season brings entertainment, cultural experiences, and family events to the Saudi Arabian port city on the Red Sea.
Imagine Monet exhibition is curated by French directors Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, pioneers in digital immersive exhibitions.
The duo has also created the world’s first event focusing on works by Van Gogh.
The exhibition "showcases over 200 masterpieces by Claude Monet, from Impression, Sunrise (1872) to the iconic Water Lilies series (1914-1926). Utilizing state-of-the-art Image Totale technology, visitors are immersed in a 360° projection environment, offering a sensory-rich experience for both children and adults, whether they are art novices or enthusiasts," reads the project's promotional material.
Before Saudi Arabia, the show toured the USA, Canada, the UK, and Sweden, among other countries.
Its presence in Jeddah marks the exhibition's debut in the Middle East.
