Still from Stable Unstable
Cairo's art house cinema Zawya is set to begin screening Lebanese production Tal3' Nazel (Stable Unstable) on Wednesday 17 September instead of Palestinian Oscar contender Omar, which was set to screen according to their programme.
Stable Unstable is a comedy-drama set in an apartment building in Beirut on the last day of the year. Seven characters visit their phsychologist, where they face themselves, their loved ones and what is important to them. Thus this couch in Beirut becomes a window into Beirut's residents, their hopes and dreams.
The film is directed by Mahmoud Hojeij and was featured in the Dubai International Film Festival in 2013.
Programme:
Wednesday 17 September until Tuesday 23 September, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 6.30pm, 9.30pm
