Ahmad Abdalla's latest feature film, Decor will screen at downtown's art house cinema, Zawya starting 17 December as part of their monthly schedule.
A discussion in the presence of Abdalla will follow the screening on opening night, which coincides with the film's commercial release in Egypt.
The film, which pays homage to old Egyptian movies, stars silver screen magnate Khaled Aboul-Naga in his third collaboration with Abdalla, Horreya Farghaly and Maged El-Kedwany.
The film was penned by Sherine and Mohamed Diab, the first of Abdalla's films not to be written by him.
Decor premiered at BFI London Film Festival in October and made its Arab world premiere during the 36th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival last month.
