Three feature-length films will be screened in the Malmö Arab Film Festival in Sweden, which kicks off on 23 September.
The movies include Egyptian Maidens by Mohamed Amin, Messages from the Sea by Dawood Abdel Sayed as well as the documentary Me and the Agenda by Neveen Shalaby.
Notably, the Jordanian Transit Cities by Mohamed Al Hushki, which has won the critics’ choice award at the seventh Dubai International Film Festival, will also be screened.
A number of films short films, documentaries from different Arab countries and films from the Gulf will also be screened. Films from the Gulf include Constructing Dreams from the UAE, The Power of Generations from Bahrain, Spices from Oman and Heaven’s Water from Kuwait.
