A feature film, Before the Summer Crowds (Abl Zahmet El-Saif), by the renowned Egyptian filmmaker will be released in Iraqi commercial cinemas starting 5 May.
Before the Summer Crowds, a film by the renowned filmmaker Mohamed Khan, premiered in Egypt at the 5th Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) which run between 17 and 23 March. It was then released in Egypt's cinemas on 13 May.
Starring Maged El-Kedwany, Hana Shiha and Ahmed Dawood, the film was written by Ghada Shahbandar and premiered at the 12th Dubai International Film Festival in December 2015, where it participated in the Muhr feature competition.
The drama/romance set at a resort by the sea follows an estranged couple and their neighbour whose holiday plans do not go quite as expected.
