More than 15 years after its production, the film premiered in Egypt in 2014 at the 14th Cairo International Film festival.

The war-pic , which was directed by late Mohamed Rady, the war-pic is about the lead-up and the events of the 1973 Arab-Israeli war, portraying life in the army and air force during missions of heroism.

The film also looks at the 1970 Bahr El-Bakar massacre where an Israeli war raid left 30 Egyptian elementary school children dead.
