Wild Tales, a multi-award winning Argentinean dark comedy will be screened at Room Art Space for a Film and Coffee Night on 14 May.
The film presents six short stories about love, deception, tragedy, the return of the past, exploring the extremes of human behavior and the violence in the face of distress.
Written and directed by Damián Szifron, Wild Tales (2014) was nominated for an Oscar and a Cannes Palm d’Or, and nominated for 50 other awards.
Its awards amount to over 40 wins, among which are a BAFTA award for best film not in the English language, a Goya Award for best Iberoamerican film, as well as ten awards of the Argentinean Academy from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina.
Wild Tales premiered in Egypt at Zawya cinema in August 2015.
