Award-winning Hollywood movie stars Nicholas Cage, Hilary Swank and Adrien Brody will appear as guests at the closing ceremony of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) at the end of November.

The festival runs between 21 and 30 November, and the closing ceremony, like the opening, is sponsored by DMC Channels.

Actor, producer and director Nicholas Cage has won over 40 awards throughout his career, including a best-actor Oscar for Leaving Last Vegas in 1995. His best-known films include Face/Off, Adaptation, Con Air, Matchstick Men and the National Treasure film series.

Hilary Swank is an actress best known for Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry, which earned her an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best actress in 2000 and 2004. Her other films include the romantic comedy P.S. I Love You and Amelia, in which she portrayed legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart.

Adrien Brody began his acting career in television series, including the 1988 series Annie McGuire and Home At Last. With over 50 films to his name, he is best known for his 2002 film The Pianist, which landed him an Oscar and a Caesar award for best actor.

He also directed and produced a documentary titled Stone Barn Castle, which chronicles the actor’s seven-year restoration of a partially burnt stone building hidden in the woods of upstate New York, seeking to fulfil his dream of having a place in the country.
