Short films inspired by Naguib Mahfouz to be screened

As part of the celebrations of Naguib Mahfouz's centennial, several short films hosted by the project Plaza, will be screened

A series of short films hosted by Plaza, a project by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Arts Centre, to support young filmmakers will be screened tomorrow.

The third series, which contributes with Figleaf studios, celebrates the centennial of the Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz and will screen films inspired from his stories in his last book The Dreams.

The screenings will be followed by a discussion by the filmmakers of the films moderated by filmmaker Mohamed Khan.
