The jury for Feature Film include: Annika Gustafsson, a Swedish freelance filmcritic/journalist; Dora Bouchoucha, film producer and head of Carthage Film Festival (in 2008, 2010 and 2014); and Rasmus Brendstrup, a programmer at the Cinematheque of Copenhagen and since 2015 in charge of the film festival Arabian Nights.
The jury for Feature Film include: Insaf Ouhiba, researcher in film studies and a programmer; Koutaiba Al-Janabi, an award-winning producer and director for film and television; and Mohamed Zineddaine, who teaches scenario writing in Bologna and countries around the Mediterranean.
The event is the biggest film festival dedicated to Arab cinema in the Scandinavian region, and one of the largest such events outside the Arab world.
The festival's 10th edition will feature over 75 features, short films and documentaries by Arab artists or focusing on the Arab region.
This year’s Malmö Arab Film Festival will showcase
ten films by Egyptian directors or involving Egyptian producers.
