Egyptian 40-minute feature film 'Alamaat April' (April Signs) will be screened on Wednesday 7 October at the Qasr El-Cinema 'Cinema Palace' in Cairo, with the presence of filmmakers.
Director Ahmed Maher, of Omar El-Sherif's Al-Mosafer (2010) and Ahmed Zaki's Edhak El-Sora Tetla' Helwa (1998) will attend the screening and discuss it in a symposium.
Produced by the Egyptian Television in the 90s, April Signs stars Ahmed Azmy, Salwa Khattab, Mohsena Tawfik with the cinematography made by Ehab Mohamed Ali and music produced by GRAMMY-winner Fathy Salama.
The acclaimed film that won a collection of local and international award "blends realism with romanticism in a modern style," as the event organizers described.
