Misr International Films, New Century Production and Synergy Films released the trailer for their new thriller 'The Black Box'.

Written and directed by Mahmoud Kamel, this new thriller is based on a script by both Ahmed El Dahan and Haytham El Dahan.

The film stars Mona Zaki, Mohamed Farrag, Mostafa Khater, Sherif Salama, and Asmaa Galal. 'The Black Box' marks Zaki's comeback to the silver screen after nearly a four-year absence.

According to a brief provided by the film's marketing agent 'Mad Solutions', in 'The Black Box' Zaki plays the role of Yasmine.

The brief read "Yasmine, finds her house subjected to a burglary by two armed strangers on a mission to steal something highly important; she desperately contrives a plan to run away, but her plan goes to no avail. Will she be able to survive this stressful night?"

Earlier this week, the producers had revealed the film's teaser poster which features Zaki with bruises on her face and a fearful look in her eyes.

The Black Box is scheduled for release in Egyptian cinemas across the country on 28, October.
