Egyptian actor, writer Sabry Fawwaz contracted coronavirus

The actor is isolating himself at home

Egyptian actor Sabry Fawwaz revealed that he has contracted the coronavirus, Al-Ahram Arabic reported.

The actor added that he is taking all precautionary measures and isolating himself until he fully recovers.

Born in 1968, actor, writer, and director Fawwaz is best known for his memorable role of Baligh Hamdi in the series Om Kalthoum and in the film Halim.

He has also participated in many other television series such as Except Me (2020), Qaid Aayeli (2019), Afrah Al-Qoba (2016), Al-Saba Wassaya (2014), among others. His most recent film roles include Souq Al-Gomaa (2018), Photocopy (2017), Mawlana (2016), etc.

Fawwaz is currently working on the Moussa television series which is scheduled to air during the upcoming month of Ramadan. The series stars Mohamed Ramadan. It also features Tara Emad, Sayed Ragab, and Somaya El-Khashab.

Fawwaz is also drawn to theatre, where he occasionally directs plays.

Last week, Egyptian actor Sayed Ragab revealed on his Facebook page that he tested positive for the coronavirus according to a recent PCR test and is isolating himself at home.
