Film caravan to screen movies by Arab and Ibero-American woman directors

In it’s fifth year between 27-31 May, 2012, Entre Cineastas will screen its selection of 23 films, including short and feature films made by women from Latin America, the Arab world and Spain

.

The Arabic Ibero-American film festival, Entre Cineastas (Among Filmmakers), celebrates in Cairo it’s fifth year with the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID), the Spanish embassy in Cairo, the Cervantes Institute in Cairo, Kultura Communicatio Desarrollo (KCD) film screenings, workshops and cross-cultural activities from 27 - 31 May.

Within it's five short years, Entre Cineastas has been around the globe in no less than 20 countries. 

According to their press release, Entre Cineastas seeks and has been able to create a ground for Arab and Ibero-American female directors to gather and dialogue. The common language it uses to break cultural barriers is "film; in all its diverse forms, which mirrors the diversity of the participants' cultures."

Entre Cineastas' film screenings come from Spain, Egypt, Peru, Argentina, Lebanon, Chile, Morocco, Syria, Venezuela, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Cuba.
