Under helms of the festival’s director star actor Hussein Fahmy, Béla Tarr will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award during the CIFF’s 44th edition, taking place between 13 and 22 November.

The CIFF is one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and Africa. It is the only festival in the region classified in the A category by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations.
